According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), New Jersey now has the third highest rate of Autism in the nation.
The rate of Autism among New Jersey’s children is 1 in 34 children, or 2.9% of 8-year-old children based on the CDC evaluation of health and educational records of 8-year-old children in 2020 in 11 states, including New Jersey.

The national rate for Autism is 1 in 36 children.
