Nassan’s Place can’t STOP the diagnosis,
but we can HELP the families affected by it!
Nassan’s Place is a 501(c)(3) non profit corporation that is helping to make a difference in the lives of children and families affected by autism in and around under-served communities by providing educational and recreational programs, social outings, and resources.
Autism is an urgent and growing public health crisis that affects most individuals across their lifespan and demands a commensurate level of action from both the public and private sectors.
New Jersey has the highest rate of Autism in the country, 1 in 34; the national rate is 1 in 45.
Nassan’s Place has been providing access to affordable, educational, and recreational programs, sensory-friendly events, workshops, advocacy and other resources to families affected by Autism for over seven years! However, it has always been a dream of ours to provide families affected by Autism in and around under-served and inner-city communities with a permanent safe, fun, and educational environment for the children and their families! It has been a long time coming… and we are happy to announce that this dream is now a reality! Nassan’s Place would like to thank the City of Newark, and Mayor Ras J. Baraka, for gifting us with a new home!
However, there is much work to be done! We are unable to use the building and land in its’ current condition. As Nassan’s Place serves so many families affected by Autism, we need to make sure that our new home can accommodate all of our needs. Our goal is to utilize the entire lot to house a NEW BUILDING which would offer so many wonderful areas for programs and activities for our families!
WE CANNOT DO THIS WITHOUT YOUR SUPPORT!!!!!!!
The sooner we reach our goal, the sooner our families could enjoy all the great things the "NEW" Nassan's Place has to offer! Nassan's Place can't stop the diagnosis but we can help the families affected by it! Please help make our dream become a reality. By making a donation, you will truly be part of changing the lives of children and families affected by Autism!
